Here's why Lottery is legal, an gambling isn't or wasn't.

Lottery brings in money for the state, which all those wonderful politicians get to spend on their little pet projects. Down here in NC..I think half of the money for the lottery goes to education. Can't speak for other states. I know NC resists for a very long time an finally gave in an allows lottery here now.

Fun history fact for my sandbar - 15 years ago if you wanted to play the lottery(scratch or pick) you had to basically drive all the up to the border of NC/VA an visit a place called the Border Station. One half of it is in va, the other is in NC. So back then you'd buy your tickets on the Va side. All you could get on the NC side far as lottery was some really crappy scratch game that gave you minutes for long distance calls. LOL.

Oh an yes..I dislike being told what to do, or how to act. It's my life. Let me live it. If I'm not being a danger to others or myself, then let me do my thing. No I don't buy all the hype with second hand smoke either..me smoking outdoors, isn't going to hurt you any more then all the crap we're releasing in the air as it is..from cars, trucks, etc.

Shame me for smoking a cigarette but **** me if anyone points a finger at a prostitu..err politician when they eff up. Haha...it'd be funny if it wasn't so sad.
