Rare Working Apple-1 Computer With Cassette Interface Board Hits eBay - Mac Rumors
I like the older apple computers. I have a small collection of the not so rare stuff. I would guess that the small selection of original software I have for them is where the real money is.
I like interesting cool looking things. Always have. Thanks for the post as I doubt I would of known about the information available from the auctions and write ups.
Defiantly TIME CAPSULE items, for sure.
I have a nice selection of vintage electronic and electrical items in my hoards and collections. Some of the early cell phone items, old test equipment, medical quackery gadgets and so many cool & unique items.
I have been a bit excited over my BIG plan and where it is headed as I'm a digging through the yard seeing what I may find and I have been having a blast from the past.
I'm in for a break as I have been playing around out in the yard clearing the pathways and cleaning up what the winter made a mess of. It is a nice enough day outside.
everyday is a new adventure and Life is what you make it...
Sadly, the Apple IIs aren't worth $21,000 with 8 days left on the auction.
I wish- I'd be rich!
It is pretty cool to see one- I don't know the production figures, but I believe that it was around 75 units.
I would have probably held off until Wozniack's death. All my older Apple stuff did well when Jobs passed.

I'd modify your last statement: "a first type of computer or one with a company with a near cultish following are art", everything else mostly scrap...
That's cool! Reminds of of when I was a kid playing with my Commodore 64!! Good times!
Obviously not in the Apple-1 realm, but I've heard that pristine Commodore 64s go for good coin as well as Pong
Up to over $50 GRAND as of now. YEEOW!
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!
