When will yard hours get longer?

My current yard used still is running on winter hours. Last year they would be open 7am to 4pm on Saturday. Now their hours are 830am to 12pm. I keep asking when the hours will change, but they keep telling me next month. Is your yard the same?

Another gripe is no one seems to be sorting their non-ferrous metal anymore. I thought I could get two metal runs in the morning but it took 40 min for the ferrous drop off and 1hr30min for non-ferrous. They pay better than other yards and service is great, but the lines are long and no one uses their tubs to separate.

On weekdays scrapyard closes at 4:30, I get out of school at 3:15, 30min drive, plus need time to load, so I can only go on weekends. My goal in life is to open a scrapyard that's open like a restraunts hours! It's very annoying, I feel the pain.

TNT Scrap Metal in Brooklyn, NY. is open 24 hours a day. I don't know how this place can do this? There's no cashier after 5 pm, I wonder about the source of the customers that a 2 am "drop-off" would make?

It's the city that never sleeps. The five boroughs contain over 8 million people so it's not really that hard to see why it would make sense for a yard to stay open 24 hrs a day.

I would probably utilize that at some point. I'm already on the lookout for one that's open sundays. What are you saying about us night owls, bigburt? The biggest criminals where suits and ties, in case you didn't know.
