Have'nt done one of these for a while.

Over the last year or so this forum has doubled and tripled it membership and its reader ship. I some times forget this IS the internet and just as suseptable to mis info and mis use as the rest of the net.

Usually it is a troll or some one attempting to scam one or more of us but in the last 6 months or so I see other more dangerous things pop up and they are getting more frequent. Please verify any info here with at least a second opinion. Most times out right wrong or misleading info will be caught very quickly and corrected by a member. There are occasions however when bad advise or not so subtle between the lines collusion takes place. Some of it by long time respected members fortunately there are only two in this category that I strongly suspect. The proof I have is first hand but, It is of the my word their word type.

The other I am aware of is info posted by a newer poster , one in particular, who has been here only a short time,(relatively). There have been a couple of different proposals by this poster offering to get other members and non members involved in different projects. It is the intention of this forum ,I believe to help each other out in any way we can and, to work together. I am 100% behind that effort.

All I am saying is always best to " trust but verify ". Feel free to ask others for advice, A second opinion or a third. use PMs if your gun shy. I don't have a problem nor am I fazed what so ever by some one questioning any thing I say.

I'm only aware of one person in the history of the earth who was ever 100% right always, and, he does not post on this forum. mcw

SO how much money has been pledged to the kickstarter campaign?

The danger I see in some one approaching Kick starter is that they will use the forum as a reference for a half baked Idea with no solid plan. It could affect another member who has a solid Idea and plan in the future.
