Phil you may win the title of SMF "Youngest Scrapper". I wish I had got into it at that age. I lived in Arkansas then, in the middle of nothing but country roads. At the time you could get your drivers license at the age of 14, you were supposed to have a adult with you until you turned 16. My grandpa lived with us, was having eye problems (cataracts, could hardly see until he had his surgery). He bought me my first car, (as long as I drove him around). My first car, a 1970 plymouth sport fury (440 with a four barrel carb.), he didn't mess around when it came to moving down the road! Making that car go faster was how I spent most of my time then, I did learn how to work on cars and use tools.
