That's what I think will happen.

The two McDonalds in our area are owned by the same company, but as far as I know, they don't own any others. I doubt they care what happens in New York, but if wages rise, they'll raise prices. Everntually, everything will cost more.

You can't tip the scales for very long. The other side will catch up....

Now, if you'll excuse me, Hobo Finds has made me very..... hungry?

Now that we're "off" the distractions...

I know - back when I had my drop box idea I had talked with alot of business' who have them and between their responses and what I found online, 95% of what's donated to them goes back to the business who hosts them. I had a feeling this was the case from the get go anyhow so that didn't surprise or shock me. The again near me is the Salvation Army Thrift Store, Thrifty Shopper, and Goodwill and all three move items that don't sell between each other which didn't surprise me either since I saw a Salvation Army truck at the Thrifty Shopper unloading items.

I know - between my uncle and brother-in-law, their both constantly reminding me of things about the government and how no party is correct and how each party leader has some kind of hidden agenda behind their words. I did share the article with my brother-in-law and he said it didn't surprise him.

Minimum wage will always be in the toilet unless the cost of living goes down to balance wages, but minimum wage will always go up to give politicians something to talk about. I keep telling everyone I end up having this conversation with that the US needs to be more like Australia because at least those folks have their stuff together.
Oh hey look an obvious distraction...

Good luck getting hobo off distractions. We have to let him out of the cooler once in a while or he'll chew through his collar.
