Used to work for Mennonites at a fleamarket. It was my very first job. They definitely had the best tasting food. But, ironically, the people I worked for were just vendors, selling the quality product while living the "corporate life" if you will. They would do things with the food I did not approve of in the name of saving a few cents here, a few there, eventually leading to the fall of what was known as a great place to get real farm fresh and old fashioned recipes. That was mid-to-late nineties. The woman who ran the business wasn't even mennonite, she married one. She was, and I do not joke here, a Nazi. I mean Hitler's Youth, racist and bigoted to the bone, Nazi. Some of the things she would say and do made me want to do bad things, even though she was a woman. Judge me as you will, I was raised not to tolerate that sh!t and I regret holding my tongue in the interest of keeping my job.
