What Model Make and Year would you like to see in cars or trucks? To come back.

I looked around and didn't see any thread about this so I am sorry if there is another one made already. I was wondering if anyone out there would like to see a certain year model and make of a car or truck to come back? I have a thing for F150xlt with 8ft bed From the year of 96' , especially the red ones. I would love to see them come back and a few other kinds of trucks also. What is your favorite truck or car? To come back.

This photo is not mine but its something I would love to find and buy.

In my mind, the square body Chevrolet is the best truck that anyone's ever built. I'd love to see new ones, but my 1987 will have to do.

For cars, two have really stood out to me: The 1998-2004 Audi A6 (Especially the wagon), and the mid 1990s LeSabres.

So, I'm not the only American Motors fan on here....

The AMX is absolutely gorgeous, but I'd have the Matador Coupe (I sort of backed myself into that one!)

For me I would love to see the 1958 Ford F500 with 292 and 4 speed brought back. I had three and wish I still had them even if they were just sitting in the yard taking up space (I know that wouldnt get by you since you said no more school buses or commercial trucks in the yard unless going right to the scale)

Sorry picture isnt the best it was taken back in Sept 2006 at the Waite Maine lot.

Hey do you remember the member from the left coast that had the old Chevy custom that he used for scrapping?? That was laid out cool. There's pic's of it somewhere here.

Amen to that. I would get a new truck if it would fit in my garage. My Taco and the wifes CRV are tucked in pretty tight.

I've never actually had an EFI problem. My 1986 Dodge is a pain to start with the 4bbl, but it'll get going eventually. My 1987 Chevrolet (With a TBI 305) starts with the first turn of the key- even if it's sat for a couple of months.

I prefer the EFI trucks, but that's all I really want in terms of engine controls. A Vortec 350 is perfect, but a TBI will get the job done just fine.

Scrapbabe, I'm with you on the mid-90's Ford. I've never owned, or even driven a Ford but that's the truck that always has me turning my head for a second look.

    I don't have a photo of it, but I own a 1995 F150 Flareside (Like this):

Mine has the 300 I6, which I would recommend against. The fuel mileage isn't much better than our K3500 crew cab, but there is almost 100hp less. The carb'd 300s were torque monsters, but the EFI ones weren't as torquey. I've never owned a Ford truck with a 302 or a 351, but they would likely be a better choice.

You feel like you sit up higher more than you do in a GM. The interior is the weak point in my mind. I much prefer the setup of the 1987-1991 Fords. The exteriors (Especially on the F150s) were the best generation of F150 in my mind.

I'm a GM and Dodge guy, but I'd own a V8 version of the truck. I wouldn't have another 300 though- the 3.9L in our 1992 Dakota actually puts out more horsepower, and it's an entire liter smaller.

Don't get me started on Dodge Dakotas, though. in my mind, nothing comes close to the 1990s ones....

scrapbabe, that truck is good looking. I love that body style and those wheels were perfect on those. I have the same wheels on my 96 f350 but its a 4 door and ive had two doors before but I will never have anything less than a 4 door again and a truck has to be a long box. but honestly, even with my 96 having an extremely great running powerstroke with a lot of motor and tranny work done, it runs like my 02 7.3L and the 02 is so much nicer inside and rideability. that being said, ive worked my friends 2015 f450 6.7L and now I am saving up for one of those.. lol

ive owned and worked one of every truck (light duty to heavy duty) and I hate them all, they all suck, they all break.. but I like a ford body and the main reason I keep buying them is the keypad on the door and solid front axel and a few more small things. and medium duty I love international, and heavy duty, im paccar all day!

I grew up with the 96' f150 but the one I had was bought the same year I was born poor thing went threw hell and back with 6 other crashes it was in before I had to officially to retire her about 5 years ago. It would of been 19 and still running if it didn't flip about 500 feet into the air and rolled on two of its corner and basically was flat. Still have the roof where I put stickers on the inside of the roof when I was younger. If things were different she would still be on the road. Would LOVE to have another one again..

My mom bought the premier year Toyota Supra 1979.This pic does not really do it justice, but it looked like this...

If I had to pick a car I still had, it would be my '76 Pontiac Sunbird Landau with a 3.8 V6. Mine was yellow.

Favorite car owned by my family was a '76 Pontiac Gran Prix landau. Hers was alike a metalic lime green. Beautiful.
