I'm sorry, I was so impressed with the picture I forgot to mention what it was. It is the shuttle Atlantis taking off as seen from the space station. I had no idea the way it could be seen from space, but I guess it makes sense as I have seen many launches from across the state with perfect clarity. I did a search to find the photo again and there are quite a few launches seen from the station, but I thought this was the best because of the three dimensional aspect of the shuttle being in focus and the Earth drifting out of focus behind it.
