I posted this in humor because I just got 26 desktops that I plan to break down this winter. The veterans on here know I specialize in scrap a lot larger than this and I am a greenhorn in this regard. Personally, I would prefer to see an introduction thread stickyed to the top. It could have the rules at the top and instruct the member to add their introduction to the thread. I find a bunch of new member introductions annoying when I am looking for new posts.

At the top right hand side of the SMF home page there are 2 search engines I prefer the Google Custom Search. I just typed in "scrapping computers" and got over 2300 post on scrapping and computer breakdowns.

I'm just kidding!!!!! Just messing with you Patriot! That was my attempt at humor.

I try to be nice and help but I'm usually on early reading and that's not a good time for me to be replying to threads. I'm not a morning person.

Most new members are nice but a few come here almost demanding answers. They usually get something like this from me.

Anywho, Patriot if you ever have questions about computers and especially telecom equipment, holler.

I just want to know what has the most gold content? So I can make some fast money, can anyone help me? Sometime today, as I'm in a hurry and I don't have time to read a lot of pages that were wrote years ago, really I need some gold!

Not a problem! My post was kind of an attempt at humor, too. You just need a screwdriver- basically, remove any screw that you find, and the whole thing comes apart. Some HPs used T15 Torx screws, but mostly you just need a Phillips screwdriver.

That did not belong being posted on this "family friendly" site. That's why occasionally you'll see something disappear and not know for sure why.
