Hypoman- Deer, and I guess antelope as well, will do the same thing in our state, jump up on round bale stacks or linear lines (no one wraps bound bales here with plastic like I've seen done out East), crap and pee on them and then the cattle won't eat the hay. The GF&P recommends "hay yard fencing" tactics and people can get put on deer "depredation" lists during the winter where people can shoot non-anterless coming into hay yards. Land owners can blast deer and antelope messing their hay supplies as well but can't use the animals in any way except to pull them off so they don't rot on the hay piles. The state agency likes the better PR of someone getting to use the meat...
