Hoping all a great Thanksgiving. We are blessed because of our free dinner and the ability to supplement it if we want.
I am curious what is on the menu in your home?

Give back more to this world than we take.
Turkey. What else would I eat?
We have a 42# turkey in the oven right now. We'll have leftovers for ages, and I'll need a larger belt
We love turkey. This time of year, we stock up on them, so we have enough to make them throughout the year, every couple of months. Served with stuffing, mashed potatoes, rolls, pumpkin pie, and cherry pie- that's a feast!

My mom and I always say we're like two little kids and our parents aren't home.
So since we're not having company this year (yay) it'll probably be cake...over the sink.
Happy Thanksgiving, SMF!
My belly is so full. I can't think about food til tomorrow.
Money is not the root of all evil, the love of money is.
We're doing the dinner this coming Saturday due to scheduling, but it includes turkey, twice baked potatoes, yams, green bean casserole, dressing, fruit and macaroni salads, apple crisp, pumpkin bars and cherry cheese danish. (Found the recipe online and had to try it). God Bless America !!!
I made turkey, mashed potatoes, (mom made) cheesy potatoes, corn, gravy, bread, pumpkin pie, veggie tray and fresh baked cinnamon puff muffins.

Just finished dinner. Wild turkey and pheasant was the main course with to many other side dishes. I am so full it is hard to type. We are so blessed in the U.S. May we protect it for future generations.
Getting late hopefully some pie... Uh, not goanna happen she is out shopping! LOL
A 42 pound turkey, matador??!! Where did you get such a Frankenturk?? I've heard birds half that size tromping through the leaves in the spring coming in on a call and they sounds like mini dinosaurs. I can't imagine a live bird weighing over 45 lbs. running through the woods!!
We sell straw. One of our customers raises turkeys. We trade a load of straw each year for one. The retail on that bird is around $130. There is no way that I'd ever spend that much on a turkey, but 35 bales of straw....
We had to cut the legs off to fit in in the roasting pan. It barely fit without the legs. The two legs filled our electric skillet. This was a massive bird. I'm a little bloated right now
