Thank you Hobofinds. Happy New Year to you and other members. I never knew I could celebrate the New Year forty times in a 24 hr. period. I always assumed I slept from one year to the next, have not seen New Years Eve in many years in my time zone. New Years resolution, celebrate with each time zone thanks to your research.
Give back more to this world than we take.

As they say it's 5 o'clock somewhere, so it's time for a drink. So the same must be true for midnight, a new day or a New Year. As I started my holiday at 5 pm tonight, I wanted something that makes a difference, so I opened a bottle of "Corner Creek" bourbon.
I like a good bourbon, this bottle has been setting unopened on a shelf in my bar for 5 or 6 years. I solved that problem tonight and I should have done so a long time ago. A very smooth bourbon that gives that good inside warmth that will do just as needed for the next 48 hours. Not one to make resolutions I can't keep, so this New Years resolution will be simple, "Drink often, but slowly".

Hobo keeping with the theme of your informative posting, that I'll call a public service announcement. My resolution to drink often, but slowly. I have poured another tumbler of the "good stuff", and a Toast to all here.

Hobo and all here at SMF, I wish all of you a safe, healthy, prosperous and very good "New Year".
