IDK .... i guess we all tend to look at things through our own personal lens. The idea of an international banking conspiracy doesn't make sense to me. The motivations don't fit.

One could say it's all about the money, but when you've got more money than G-d a trillion dollars more is meaningless.

It could be about the power, but when you try to wield power it burns you up. ( Rather pointless because it's self defeating. )

Maybe it's just a bunch of people trying to keep the wheels of the global economy turning ?

    =========================================

Interesting possible development on the economic front.

Negative Interest Rate Policy (NIRP) Definition | Investopedia

It's all a matter of interpretation, but it looks to me like we've completed the inflationary phase of the recession and have gone into the deflationary phase where the economy will shrink and the value of the dollar will increase.

This might actually be good for the average Joe that's working for a paycheck because it will force the prices of things like gasoline to drop.

It's awfully hard on those who deal in scrap metals because operating costs (like labor ) will stay high while gross sales on the balance sheet will drop. Could push a lot of businesses into bankruptcy.

Anyhow .... seems like the fed is looking for new ways to get more money out into circulation to keep the global economic engine puttering along.

China is coming down off of a bubble that was created by the Chinese government.

I also wouldn't say that a period of unbridled inflation is nigh. Those people who control the fed are no dummies and it's not advantageous for them to cause inflation.

The Fed is also not what many would call privately owned. While it may be independent of the government in a way, it must also operate within relatively strict guidelines that the cats in congress set for it.

Long story short, no one is to benefit if the global economy tanks, and if the U.S. economy sucks, the global economy sucks.

    1. think in terms of a giant minopoly game for real.

we average folks think if we suddenly became super wealthy we would go do something we would enjoy like retire or travel the world. for a certain % retirement is more like torture.

to many of the mega -wealthy it is a game and money is only a way to keep score.

many of the restrictions on the mega banks and wall street have been removed over the past years.

the banking systems were established 2000+ years when traders left gold with merchants and accepted what are refereed to now as promissory notes. after a time those firs bankers realized never were they devoid of some deposits and gambled 10% of their "reserves" by develop ping user y or loans for profit. at the time this was against religious laws. that eventually developed into modern banking. and it became legal practice to loan 1o% of reserves. over the last decade or so that 10% has grown to as much as 120 %.

I'm philosophical about it all. It's better not to generalize too much about any group of people because there are plenty who just don't fit the mold. When you're talking about Banking & Finance it's like saying all Jews are greedy self serving parasites on society. There are those who are in it for "The Game" and always will be but there are those start thinking to a higher purpose after they've made their mark.

It's best summed up when a wealthy man says " I want the last check I ever write to bounce."
