a little ditty from long ago...

I mowed my very thick front lawn for the first time this year this evening. Got a good work out with my 22 inch self-propelled. Someday I'll get a rider again but maybe after this belly fat is off of me. Listened to all the robins singing along with the blackbirds in the cattails and willows along my creeklet. Thought of a silly little ditty I learned long ago as a kid. Why stupid stuff gets hard-wired in your brain when your young I don't know. Maybe because it can still make you think you're a kid. Here its goes:

    birdie, birdie in the sky
drop a turdie in my eye
me no baby, me no cry
me just glad that cows don't fly!
