The Stamford gen head is 3 phase with multiple power configurations, it's currently configured for 220 volts single phase for domestic use.

Nothing new, just replaced the generator image with a better copy.

As I recall we were reproducing tomato plants and used a scalpel to remove a very few cells from the tips of the roots. Procedure included keeping everything sterile including using a Bunsen burner to clean the end of the test tube just before placing the cells in the media that was on the bottom of the tube.

Although I was not directly involved I noticed it was a very successful test of the technique of reproduction. I very much look forward to hearing about your results.

I love the tractors. We have a channel on DirecTV that for farmers and ranchers and they often have programs on vintage farm equipment. My wife and I watched a show on vintage lawn and garden tractors. It was interesting and espesically so for my wife. My wife also grew up on a farm but the family tractor was a water buffalo. She's from Vietnam.

Thanks for sharing you cool stuff. 73, Mike
The garlic was a bust, some burrowing ground critter ate most of the bulbs.

This year decided on Oyster mushrooms, bought a couple of 10cc syringes of Blue and Golden mycelium, by adding the mycelium to sterile potatoes water managed to increase each species into 16 litre's.

The jugs were shaken to break up the mycelium then into a hand held watering can then a walk through the forest bordering our property.

Unfortunately the burdock's have over taken my efforts.

My essential oil distillation unit has been completed and sitting un-used, I actually purchased the Petter 15 KW generator having in mind to use electricity to make the steam required to distill the oil.

The still and generator trailer mounted would be portable enough the go into the forest to process logging waste.

Built the trailer, but life sometimes has other priority's that get in the way.

Later today or tomorrow will make a thread with pictures of the still etc.

Back to my dead radio its far enough into the modern era that its all surface mount tech so no way I'm going to even give it a try.

I looked at the link to the 3d file and I have to say that is neat. I've seen that short on tv but to see it and manipulate it on my laptop is very cool indeed. 73, and GN, Mike

Sold two of the diesel engines and gifted one to the farm who so graciously let me have use of their shop with all the nifty equipment.

Webster five gallon pressurized paint pot modified into a pressure cooker to sterilize grain used to grow Oyster mushrooms.

It holds a lot of jars, from the two 10cc syringes was able to have enough mycelium produced to grow mushrooms in 5 gallon buckets many of which I gave to friends and neighbours.
