Nothing says Christmas like the annual Holiday all you can eat buffet at job #2 downtown. They went all out this year breakfast lunch and Risk Management brought in
trainers for Active Violence aka active shooter training. Last year the get together was the same day and time as the San Bernadino shootings and they were teaching
Run Hide Fight in the event of a workplace violence situation. This year they are teaching AVOID BARRICADE COMBAT the trainer was a Swat officer and the average incident lasts
2-3 minutes and best case is 6-10 minute response so Your On Your Own. A local hospital is giving bleed control classes they said with a major artery trauma you have 90 seconds
to live. The trainer didn't go into Combat because your employer cant actually tell you to do that it's a personal choice.
