    It ended like I thought it would...

    I predicted to people on FB back in November that the North Dakota oil pipeline protest would end like this, and gee whiz, I was right. A lot of nice quality stuff that supporters donated last fall got turned to crap in the months that followed. I heard that there is (or was) over a hundred abandoned vehicles on the camping grounds. The state of ND should have someone scrap these to recover a tiny bit of money that the state and county spent during the stand off. Maybe the protesters, especially those from warm climates, should have read up on Napoleon, the Grand Army, and the 1812/13 Russian winter...
