    Crazy looking car tow dolly

I have been watching Caiglist for another bigger trailer and ran into this thing. Has anyone every seen anything like this? It looks homemade to me because of the tubing doubled up under the winch but I could be wrong. What do y'all think?Name: image.png

Never seen anything like that. Here in Mesa Az the snow bird capital I have seen just about every kind of RV tow device there is. I would like to see it demonstrated to see how they hook up to what is being towed so it will stay put.

Doesn't look to out of the ordinary here. Before tow trucks had wheel lifts for moving vehicles, this mechanism was used for towing vehicles. You shouldn't have to dig too far to see this type of rig on the back of tow trucks.

I wouldn't be too surprised to hear that someone found this, did some TLC and sold it in better condition than they received it.
