    Linux

I've been involved with Linux and used various flavors of it since the early 90's finally settling on Ubuntu but this latest version 16.04 I find that the developers have managed to ruin a good operating system. The apps no longer have that familiar feeling and are awkward to use.

After my discourse with Ubuntu 16.04 downloaded Fedora only to find it's a clone of Ubuntu with the same issues.

    System crashes are the norm.

WTF is with the Linux developers trying to mimic MS.

I was an enthusiastic Ubuntu user until they switched over to the Unity shell. I started using Mint Linux and have been pretty happy with that since. Mint is essentially Ubuntu minus all of the user interface experimentation.

Even Mint is getting pretty heavy with their Cinnamon Gnome shell lately so I've been using Xfce window manager, especially for older, less powerful machines. Give Mint Linux a try. They have an option on their download page to use Xfce on install. It is a lot like Ubuntu used to be.

Microsoft has been more stable than Linux based systems for a long time now. It's also more compatible with FAR more systems.

Only reason MS crashes now-a-days is the end user installed too much crapware ....
