I saw earlier today that The Tater Juice thread had been affected by photosuckets new terms. I'm not into scrapping cars but I always read and enjoyed his thread.
I started a thread almost 4 years ago and have over 500 pics of ewaste in photosucket. I'm just wondering when the pics in my thread are going to disappear.
OMG! I just had a horrible thought.
Hobo, please tell me you don't use that site. Poor goats!

I hope other sights don't follow suite. I use IMGUR
All the image hosts are going away. Free (and ad free) image hosting is very soon to be a thing of the past.
You'll either pay to get your photos hosted unblemished, or your photo will be hosted with a huge banner ad that you can't control & forums will quickly disallow.

I see IdahoScrappers pics are gone now.
I wouldn't mind paying but not 400 dollars.
Are there any alternatives?
Is there away to save our pictures from photo bucket before they disappear?
Give back more to this world than we take.
How would I download them? I would like copies for my personal files.
If you can get to your library, there is a link that says Actions. If you click on that it gives you an option to Download Album. Good luck getting it to work.
The website has been hosed up since the Terms of Service change. I'm going to leave mine alone for now in hopes photobucket will get their heads out of their a$$es and offer a more reasonable plan for 3rd party hosting.
I've been checking out other forums to see what's happening and there are pics disappearing on all of them.
What I really hate is seeing that pics from Mick and Mech are affected also.
I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, seeing their photobucket pics had been replaced with gray and blue boxes. I fear something terrible has happened.
Just deleted my account, but I didn't have any pictures on it. Also left my reason for deleting as they could find some other way of being money hungry and its a terrible thing that they did to the ones that still have pictures and have passed away.
There are other threads here that have pictures from members that have passed on and those will be gone for good. I was also looking at some of the top contributors from the early years and most of them haven't been online here in at least 3 years. A lot of good info and pics going to be affected. Sad times.
