Lightbulb How Much Scrap Is In Space & How Much Is It Worth ?

I was thinking - since humans have been lobbing stuff into outer space since the 1950's, there must be a lot of junk sitting up there, floating around earth.
Just think of all the valuable 'exotic metals' and expensive parts that have been left up there. How much do you think is up there, and if it could be brought down relatively cheaply, how much do you think it would be worth as parts & scrap ?

On an unrelated note, here is the south pole of Jupiter
