Okay, I've got a really stupid question. I should have known ahead of time, plus, I made a mistake. So, here goes:
When I read the weight of the camper, I read the hitch weight, which was 5200 pounds and mistook that for the trailer weight, which is actually 12k. When I first realized my mistake, I was worried that I had majorly over taxed the truck, but now I am thinking that the hitch weight is still really what I need to consider. So, when they say the GVTW is 7,000 lbs 5th wheel hitch weight, is that the weight on the truck, or is that the total weight of the trailer? I am still thinking I am okay, just not as okay as I was before I realized my mistake.
