    mouse balls

I have a big coffee can full of mouse balls. Keeping them as slingshot ammo. They have a steel core covered in rubber.

    Better than the dump!

I have the same.. for the exact same reason. Slingshot ammo extraordinaire!

I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

Hobo, do you have more than an occasional need to wallop somebody or something with a good slingshot!! Then again, you probably have more rougher elements than I have to deal with here in bedroom town and the "big" city next door, although "big city" is a changing. Did you ever read the novel Deathwatch...? The hero does some damage with a wrist-rocket in the end...

I used to have a huge pile of them but then I got involved with scrapping and left behind my former career in mouse gelding

Sort of (not) on the subject of Mouse Balls...

Last week I wander around to the rear of my property (close to the road still ) & notice my rubbish bin has been moved..
And there's something like a 3 foot high box covered with a old blue bedsheet beside it.
    Weird.
Ok, people have dumped old computers & scrap & TV's on my property for me to scrap. But not normally without asking first.

So, I pull the bedsheet off it to find...

    A Rat!!!

In a cage..a nice little bright white rat with beady red eyes... Uh oh. What do I do with this?
    The cats not amused.
So I shift it under cover & email a friend who once had a pet rat to ask her if she wants it.
"YEP, I will pick it up tomorrow morning"

So, the next day it's gone & I email her to make sure she got it.

"Yep, I have it here, it's playing in my clothes. But do you know what?"
    "Nah, what"
"It's weird. But that cage is worth nearly $200...."

**** this forum...I am setting up stupid pictures when I should be working! One is definitely a JOYstick but the one on the left is more of a JOY-knob. Back to work on this trash can full of mice I need to castrate. [IMG][/IMG]

I was wondering who was going to take this to the next level. It was just a matter of time.

Sir, I know Hobo already has a decoder ring but I think he deserves another.
