Shop 2.0 has Officially Arrived!!

About 3 weeks ago I finally decided to expand my scrapping area. I was thinking about possibly purchasing an expansion on the current building I work out of. I decided against it as I am currently leasing my work space. That's when the crazy idea of buying a portable shop. I placed the order and the building came in today. Below is a picture of my previous work area. I would say it's not quite chaos because there is a small level of organization in and among the chaos.



The new building is a 12' x 40' mini shop. I am very much looking forward to seeing how much stuff I can process through it when the inside is done. I will definitely be able to set up more shelves in it and operate on a larger scale.

I am working on getting my work area sorted as well. I think I am going to go with 2 shipping containers. One for intake and the second one for resale items. I'll place them 20ft apart and pour a slab between them to use as my scrapping/breakdown area. Then i'll put a roof between the 2 containers.
