This is funny if its a gas truck or car....you would not even dare to that with a diesel....you can't just put fuel in them and start them back up...you have to get up under the hood to get the truck going again.....Originally Posted by Scrapette

I run my diesel down till the miles remaining computer says 0 all the time. Then I looked it up in the book that when it says 0 miles left you actualy have 3 gallons of fuel left. Then I go and spend over 100 bucks to fill up the dang 36 gallon tank.
You know you're a scrapper if you snip the eyes off old fishing rods or sift through the burn pile ashes with a magnet.
