Jeez ... i may be creating a monster here ... but look at what else you might be able to do with a hammermill.

The videos from mbmmllc put all kinds of crazy ideas in my head.

The ice cream pail holds 16.88 pounds of copper, next up I have some silver soldered copper that I want to try out in the hammer mill.

The Case tractor is down for maintenance.

My first implement, just purchased this sweet Allied Snow Blower.

Tomorrows project, make a few 10 pound copper briquettes.

Yes I cut the plugs off, after shredding use a gold pan to separate the trash from the copper. A shaker table would be ideal and easy to make.

The table uses a connecting rod with a 3/4 inch stroke, no bump with plenty of water.

Hmm, the stuff in the pan appears to have a few percent of impurity’s do you think you could sell that as 1 or 2 copper? Ps I used to be ibscrappin but couldn’t remember my password. And after seeing this post I had to sign up again and ask you some questions. Thanks

I don't think it would sell as either 1 or 2, the yard would probably pull a new rabbit from the hat, giving it some obscure name.

Gold pan, sluice, shaker table, centrifuge, water cyclone take yer pick.

The small case tractor not enough power to efficiently run the hammer mill with full loads of copper wire, the last couple of days been out treasure hunting.

Found this Case 930 diesel on a vacant farm, this afternoon while leaving a bottle of rum at the farm where they let me use the shop one of the guys there is a cousin to the owner of this tractor.

Should know in a couple of days if the owner is willing to accept an offer, from the serial number this tractor was built in 1961. Has 80 PTO horse power which is 50 more than the little tractor.

I like your feed mill for grinding copper. A good feature on those mills is the nice bar magnet imbedded in the intake chute. I've caught several pieces of barbed wire, fence posts, and peanut picker fingers on my magnet.

Nice big long magnet and very very strong, if I lay a tool on it have a heck of a time getting it off the magnet.

Indeed. I even called my son to help me with my wrench stuck in the very strong magnet.
