First tractor that I've purchased in a long time that actually runs, never missed abeat on the 20 mile drive home.
If has a PTO that will be perfect to operate the silage chopper, cut branches down to size for the essential oil still. Now to find a tree point snow blower.

You drove it on the road 20 miles? If you were stopped, would you have told the cops, "The family thinks I'm crazy and took my car keys. I needed beer and smokes."?

Now that i have a tractor with a PTO, time to bring my hammer mill back home.
Give the hammer a diet of insulated copper wire.

Thanks, the Case 310 tractor is going to replace the small toys, selling off the Allis Chalmers 720 and the Simplicity 9020 with all the implements.

Depending on what state you are in, it is not illegal to drive tractors or farm equipment on the road. In PA I see it all the time and Ive never seen anyone pulled over for it.

Made a trip to the farm where the mill was stored, It's now at home.
They had relocated the mill, part of the PTO shaft is missing, no big deal.
The 10 horse electric mill did a decent job of removing the insulation the copper wire gets beaded into little balls that come out VERY HOT.

Found the missing half of the PTO drive shaft, later today heading out to a couple of landfills to strip some copper from appliances.
Feed that wire into the mill and see if it spits out dollar bills.
Then change he screen for one with larger discharge and feed the mill some spruce tree branches, the mill might put out material the right size needed for distilling essential oils.

Bought a new battery, PTO shaft rusted trying to get it loose, the pto from the tractor turns at 540 rpm, that large v'belt pulley overdrives the small pulley, those hammers are approaching the sound barrier.
Six V-belts, good assortment of screens.
The wire was from one trip to the landfill, I'm now a cord cutter.
Cords cut into three foot pieces so they don't wrap.

I’m interested to see how this works out for two reasons. I love seeing old farm equipment repurposed to make money, and we have an old grinder mixer out back that’s just an eyesore now

The old feed mill rolling over for the first time in twenty years, the auger compartment filled up with shred, have not modified the mill to suit my needs.
The chop is mostly extension cords, the copper kernels perfect to cast into ingots, time to bring my Induction furnace out of mothballs.
In the pan is only a small portion of the clean out.
After bringing up the RPM's on the PTO the plastic pail blew out of the cyclone.
Spitting out dollar bills.
