Was curious on the condenser ends. Is there some kind of test to determine which kind of solder or brazing alloy was used on the condenser tube elbows ? We used to use silver solder in household water piping just after the lead solder ban but we went to 95%tin / 5% antimony solder because it was much less costly and still did a good job.

Sil-Fos 15 is the preferred alloy for general copper-copper brazing; the phosphorous in the Sil-Fos family serves as a fluxing agent, no flux is recommended. Sil-Fos 15 is the best alloy to use when joining metals where close fit-ups cannot be maintained and is well suited for use in refrigeration applications.

The slide hammer works great, the end with the bolt is threaded so it is possible to make other profiles as needed.

The background noise is from someone using the pressure washer to clean off mud on one of the large tractors.

I did 30 of these ballast transformers in the hydraulic press.
