I saw the rock opera performed live back in the day. Don't really remember anything about it except the phrase " Jesus Christ ... Jesus Christ ... Who in the world do you think you are ? "
I might not even have that part right though. Human memory isn't very reliable.
I dunno ... might be the frailties of human memory thing again. I try to check my memories against the written documented history when i can. The Broadway musical first debuted in 1971. That was the stage/live concert thing. They did a film adaptation of the play in 1973 and then another later on.
I probably would have been 11 or 12 when i saw the stage play. You don't know much about the world at that age. I mostly remember that school sucked and getting into a few street fights here and there.
It's kinda useless to think back and dream about doing things in a different way. We always do the best we're capable of at any given moment in time. It would have been impossible to do any different than what you did. Regrets are a heavy load to carry to the grave with you. They're a burden on your soul. Better to chuck em' if you can and then move on.

I was raised in a very religious family and dated a girl that was a devout Catholic. I never saw the play or movie, but listened to the sound track (religiously). I am more spiritual than religious these days, but the music sings within my heart. Thank you Childhood Dream for bringing back the memories.
Give back more to this world than we take.
