If someone isn't honest with themselves, they may have a distorted view of the truth, which can lead to a lack of authenticity when interacting with others. It is vitally important for individuals to be self-aware and address any self-deception in order to cultivate honesty and genuine communication with others.

I work with people quite a bit. You run into all different kinds.

You're apt to run into problems with the personality types that fall on the narcissistic personality spectrum. Narcissists, sociopaths, and psychopaths.

Alcoholic personality disorders can be difficult. Of course there's the old joke : How can you tell if a junkie is lying ? ( Her lips are moving. )

People with cognitive disorders that fall on the autism scale can have difficulties communicating with others.

Really though .... these are all just labels. A label tells you a little about a person but that's about as far as it should go. Every person is unique in their own way.

You can even spot the bull$hitters on-line. Multiple user accounts are a dead giveaway.

Well ... there's a thing called positive visualization. You set your mind on doing something and then work really hard to attain that goal. Obviously ... we can't all be the next president of the United States but there are many goals that are attainable.

It's mostly hard work and unbending intent to make a thing manifest. It's about realizing something called your true will. We were all meant to do something in life.

Obviously ... if you were meant to be a scrapper but you are pursuing a career as a fashion designer ... it might not work out so well.

For whatever it's worth ... the cash is just a by product of hard work and dedication. You're so caught up in doing what you are doing ... the cash comes along of it's own accord.

~ Just random thoughts in no particular order and not explained very well. ~

That's o.k. as I'm VERY used to such observations.
Well .... reason it through. You've mentioned that you're not good at maintaining long term relationships. You are so self involved that that there's really no room for someone else in your life. You're not emotionally capable of being married.

How could you presume to have an informed opinion on marriage ?

It doesn't "make sense" that you would.

In keeping with the title of the thread ... " Does it make sense " ?

The internet is a strange realm. Things are never exactly as they would seem so you go with what would make the most sense ... the most probable thing.

You don't seem to be all that good with people CD. You mostly keep to yourself. You complain about people and criticize quite a bit. If you go back through your writings over the years ... this should be self evident.

    Anyhoo ... i owe ... i owe ... so off to work i go.

It's not such a bad old life. I like the job ... and making a positive contribution to the community i so cherish gives me a sense of personal satisfaction and fulfillment. I really don't have all that much longer in my adult work life left. My hope is to leave things in a little better shape than when i came on. It's my legacy to the next generation coming up through.

Guess i better get a move on. Got people depending on me to do my job and be there to serve them.

Oh, thought I would let you know that "I like you" just fine, from what I've "seen".

At least you are curious enough to interact with me, or at least try.
Small doses. Take things gently and one step at a time. Why don't we table the discussion for now. We can always get back to it in six months or a year. There's time .... no need to hurry through things.
