    With my induction furnace these copper bars are an easy melt.

    A homemade furnace fired with charcoal with a small blower to help the fuel burn will melt copper, use borax as a cover coat to prevent oxidation. Pour the molten copper into an iron mold, upon cooling the metal shrinks a tad.
