Computer Finds

Thought I would start a post along the same lines as "Dryer Finds" for those of us in the e-waste area.

We have been finding some interesting things inside computers and their parts here recently. Last week we were breaking down CD drives and found one that was stuffed with dry dog food. Have no idea how they could have gotten the dog food in there but they managed to do it somehow.

Then the young lady who works for me on a part time basis was opening up some DVD drives and turned bright red

She found a copy of Pam Anderson's porn flick with old Tommy Lee....

My best find came on Thursday when I found a copy of Windows 7....Now all I need is the key and I will be set

Dog food probably was stuffed in there by someones kid, as for the porn that was probably stuffed in there by someones dog.

Last week someone threw away a computer in my apt dumpster that had 2GB or RAM, a Pentium Quad Core processor and a nice video card. So far I've sold the RAM and processor for over $100. Same dumpster a couple days later I find a Windows 7 upgrade setup with the product key.
