What do yall think of this thing?..

I picked this up at an auction last night. I bought it just to break down. I was a little "amazed" by it that someone actually built it but than just stopped. I also picked up 3 computer monitors, 2 cpus, 2 fax machines, an old vhs recorder, and a little box of escrap with boards, a hard drive, and disk drive for like $30. I didnt loose money but I just enjoy breaking stuff down. [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

To bad you don't live closer. I buy it from you. My little brother and sister in laws would love it!

What type of auction did you go to by the way?

Its a little auction close to my house. I currently live in a small size town but there is a good amount there, just not for the scrapper. But they have everything usually from household to rims. I thought is was pretty neat. Its not complete and I havent a clue of how to complete it so I am just gonna break it down the best way I can. Any other thoughts of what to do with this thing and how to do it, whether its fixing up or breaking down.

See, now there is something someone who either scrapped themselves started to make from different items or some kid who knew what they were doing! Way cool!

I'm guessing some of the parts are an old riding mower frame, push mower motor, bike seat, tractor tires, bike tire, and the part in the back in the first picture is part of an air compressor. Someone obviously put some thought and time into that puppy!!

That's exactly what it is. The plastic piece that the shifter is in on a riding lawn mower was the rear tire covers but they fell off when loading it. it came with a box with a gas can and a few other things also. Haven't had time to really look through it.

Very cool looking! I used to call mine a trike, home made style. It looks alot like some I used to build as a kid. Amazing what you can do with some pipe an engine and some wheels! Anyway, I think I'd advertise it as it sets and someone will buy it I'm sure. Probably for more than scrap value.

I have to say that as a male of the species I am a little frightened by that bar that comes up in the very front of the seat! You run into something and slide forward and YIKES..>Some precious cargo could be damaged

Yeah, I do like it. I don't have any automotive skills what so ever or I'd try and finish it. I think the box of stuff that came with it has all or most of the parts it needs to complete it. I wonder how much it would cost to pay someone to complete it for me.

Where in GA do you live Hemi? I live in Coweta county about 30 minutes south of Atlanta. That's definitely a cool piece. I'd try to resell it before scrapping it. Does the motor run? By the looks of it all it needs is a belt to drive the wheels. By the way I'm a Mopar guy too!

I would certainly buy it from you if I lived anywhere close by. My grandkids would love it. You can't find stuff like that around here for a decent price. Nonetheless, great find.

Awesome! Although I'll admit I'm puzzled by the placement of that middle pipe also.

Hemi22! looks like fun, but unless you can get it to run without spending much and you have somewhere to ride it legally, than your best bet as said by others would be to try and sell it before breaking it down.

I live in Glennville. That's about 25min from Fort Stewart. I'm moving here next Tuesday to Washington state though, getting stationed at Fort Lewis so it will go with me up there and by than I should know what I want to do with it. I want to break down the engine cause I enjoy breaking things down, especially things I never broke down before.

Well that's only 209 miles from me  I really wanted that thing! Everyone in my neighborhood has motorcycles and four wheelers they ride around constantly. That would be cool to ride around...oh well. Don't tear it up. You can find an old push mower to tear the engine off of. You'd make some decent money selling that I'm sure.
