I was sitting, waiting on my 7th grade math class to start, when my 6'2" 260lb teacher ran into the room from the hall way. He hurdled the four desk pod that was in front of me, I knew something was wrong when he did that, he sprinted to the t.v. that was in the corner of our class room, and quickly changed it to CNN. That was right after the first tower had been struck. We sat and watched the second plane hit. It was a definite shock to all of us.

Driving to work at a hotel. Turned on the AM sports radio station. Heard the radio people state that they were going to try to keep talking sports with all that was happing. I thought that was weird and switched the station and found out. I went back home and told my wife we had a 1 year old and a three year old and she was getting them ready for day care. When I went to work as a banquet manager every group was late to arrive that day for there meetings as everyone was watching the news

it was my senior year and I was on my way back to the high school from Building Trades class and someone gave out misinformation on the bus. Realized the severity when we got back and we just sat in whatever class we could find a seat in for an hour....... you're right Dee, very very surreal.

Had just woke up and was putting on my cammies while the news was on. Watched as the second plane hit, the rest of the day was oddly quiet.

Spent the next year and a half wondering when we'd get called up, we were a desert combat unit, and that was desert/mountains over there. So it only made sense...

I remember that day all to well. When I heard the plane crashed in PA I had to call my parents to make sure everything was ok. The plane crashed only 5 miles from their house. Let us all remember those who died this day 10 years ago. Say a prayer for the troops while your at it too.

I was in the 8th grade and watched the second plane hit. Took awhile to figure what was going on.

was listening to the radio on the 30 minute car ride to school and for some reason they just wouldnt say what happened, just kept saying everythings a mess and people were jumping out of buildings. I figured the stock market crashed until I actually started talking to people about it
