I live in Rochester and have heard the radio ads too, but wasn't sure how big the bonus is. The scrap yard just was bought out by a new company and had pretty poor prices previously, I think the new owners are trying to get back on the radar of local scrappers who were turned off by low prices in the past. I called them for a quote this summer when I had a couple hundred pounds of aluminum and was quoted $.30/lb.

Well that was a let down. No extra pay i must have just miss heard the add.

Anyways. The pace was mobbed. 30 minutes in line to get to the scale and not only that they were trying some new system.

I had to bypass the scale after waiting 10 mins to turn in my Alum

Then get back in line for 30 mins to get weighed

then get back in line for 40 mins to get weighed again

Then 10 mins at the cashier

Only good part of the day was the $72 bucks i got and the free lunch. Lunch was great. I left with 9 free 24oz soda's
