George I just found this in another thread. This was post last month! Is this a different auction site you are renaming?

I would say I'm confused but you know I'm not!

How is the investment firm doing? I would think a guy that owns so many subsidiary's you would have a staff on top of all your web sites domains.

no its the same one. my invest firm has been doing alright. I use virtual assistants periodically, and then everyone else is just contracted out.

believe it or not I don't have any full time people. I will occassionally hire people part time when I need it, but for the most part it is just me.

everything I do is not really hard and thanks to multiple software not really time consuming to a degree.

I didn't forget. The renewal notice went to my spam box which should not have happened. Only actual junk email ever goes into it.

The only person or thing to blame for it all was the email servers for Yahoo labeling the email from netfirms as spsam, instead of a legit email for me.

Also, with all due respect, something as insignificant as this, has no bearing on how I run any of my companies. You have trillion dollar networks out there that make mistakes 24/7 but you don't see them loosing business all the time.

It is not about the mistakes that an individual or company makes, but what they do not to have them happen again.

You are free to feel however you wish. I know how I run things, and what things I have accomplished, and do so every day.

If you are going to base your judgement on me and my company over something like this, that was not even my fault, go ahead and enjoy yourself.

Don't know why, but I like this. The saying "Win More Pay Less" might not always be the case (might actually pay more), but still, I like it.

Even if this doesn't happen to be the main name, I might still use this one, and point it to the site or something. Look out for a PM from me.

Well I just checked again, because like a few of you, I don't really care to much for the "I" in "I Bid Extreme.com"

So, I checked again, and BiddingExtreme.com and BiddingXtreme.com are both available. Extreme-Bid.com and Xtreme-Bid.com are also available. However, I am not to crazy for the hyphen myself, but that is just me too.

Yes, I do agree to a degree that "Extreme" or "Xtreme" might not make all that much sense for a bidding/auction site, but with all the names for live auction sites that I have seen over the past few days, most of them don't make sense either.

To me, like I said, most people do some extreme (and that is putting it lightly) bidding when it comes to some items. You can get my point just by watching "Storage Auction" on A&E televisions, or going to any auction/bidding website really.

I have decided on a name, thanks to several people with their advice and suggestions. The site will (no bad luck) be up and running later on today.

At that time, I will provide the URL, as well as a surprise. Thanks again for all the help.

The site is now up and running. I will be adding some products of my own to it starting tonight, and into tomorrow, from a dropshipper that I use for products, so it doesn't look so bare of a site.

The domain name, and company name, no matter how good, bad, or indifferent it might be is http://www.biddingextreme.com. I contemplated between that and ibidextreme.com, but the "i" I just didn't like to much. Also, as you can see, I went with the more simpler name, instead of biddingxtreme.com.

I know at the beginning of the thread, I promised that whoever could help me come up with a name, would receive a lifetime VIP membership, to where you never paid any fees on the site for selling, or trading items, etc.

Well, the more I thought about it, it wouldn't be fair that way, when more than 1 person helped in coming up with a name. Plus, as a way to say thank you for all the help, advice, knowledge, criticism, etc that you all give to me, I would like to offer you all VIP memberships.

To receive one, you simply just need to sign up, and then email me at georgebeale@biddingextreme.com your username, and I will give your account the VIP membership. Like I said in the very first post, this is a way for me to say thank you for the name suggestions, and for helping to spread the word.

    Take care, and thanks again!

George I see you have a starting bid set at $ 130.00 on that cam. I don't see that working out for you. I found a new one in the box online for $39.00
Also your site has errors it locks up and is very slow.

Most of the items on there that will be from me, will be drop ship items, therefore, I have limited control over what price I can charge. I have to charge atleast their price, plus shipping, or I will be out of money, and I am not in business of any kind for that.

I am not sure where you found that one from, but unless it was from a company, I would rather pay the extra cash, and go with someone who is selling/auctioning off items from a dropshipper. If the item is defective, broken, wrong, etc then the drop ship companies will exchange, replace, refund your money. Same as with a company normally, but from an individual, you be lucky if anything but a straight as is sale happens.

As far as the website errors and locking up goes, not sure what your experiencing, as the site is working perfectly fine for me.

If you can give me specific details (pm or email me at georgebeale@biddingextreme.com), then I will look into it, and get them resolved.

Also, as I made mention in the post above, I am just adding items, so the site isn't looking so bare. I only added a few last night. I plan to add more today with some having some really good value, or in my opinion they do.

I am also doing it, so people here that might be interested in my proposal can see how the auctions appear, what options can be available, etc.

George if someone was to buy a product and received it in nonworking order there would be reasonable recourse.
If one was to pay with PayPal it would be simple to have there money refunded.

130 minus 39 equals 91. That is a lot of money for free shipping!

    Injunjoe,

Where online did you see this camera for $40 at? I just did a search for it online at ebay.com and the cheapest one that they got is $75.

Also, I am noticing that all those people selling that camera, are using the same drop shipper that I am utilizing, which is fine, but unless that $75 auction for instance, goes over $100..then they will be out of money! The drop shipper right now is offering this item for $115 including shipping with a sales discount of $16 dropping the price to $99.

Thats the drop shippers price to you. I have worked with drop shippers in the past and they have different price structures with different levels of buyer. So the same camera your paying 115 for I could be paying 30 for. To be honist I dont go to auction sites for warrenty items. I go there to try to buy stuff at %50 of retail or lower.
