    sitename suggestions

without my knowing, one of my domains have expired and was registered by someone else. so I am in search of a new name for the site but for the life of me I cannot think one.

the site in question is an online auction site similar to ebay.com but cheaper pricing.

what I am offering is this....since a few here are ebay junkies, whoever can help me come up with a new name will receieve a lifetime free vip membership to the site.....this means you will never pay site fees on the site.

my script and everything is still on my servers...just need a new name and will be back online in an hour

To tired to know if this was sarcasm or not.

I am not looking for someone to buy the domain. I just need help in the name. Then in exchange, they get a FREE VIP membership.

I gave you 2 other options. I kinda like yabaughtit.com but hey thats me. Goodluck finding a name thats all i could come up with. And yes naming it after my screenname was sarcasm but I was serious about maybe buying it myself for my own website.

I am kinda curious why your domain wasn't on auto renewal, but the past is the past.

Best of luck finding a domain. When I was looking for a new name for the shave ice biz, I had a heck of a time coming up with something. Must have gone through 15 names before I came up with one that was not taken.

I thought of a few names and was not at all surprised to see they're taken.

I get an automatic email 1 month before expiration from netfirms.com to my yahoo account. Unfortunately, the only thing that I could think of, is that it went into spam box and I didn't know it, and it was deleted. I don't do auto renewal, because I like knowing exactly what I am paying for, and not being over charged.

It was bidding4less.com. Seemed appropriate at the time. You bid less for items (or try to) then what you would pay for them at a store.

Might not have been the greatest name in the word, but what I had at the time.

Some 3rd party company registered it, and now it is up for sale as a premium domain name with GoDaddy.com for $280, and I am NOT about to pay that much for a domain name. I will just register a new one for $5.

    What are you confused about?

The first quoted text, was me referring to a 3rd party company that had registered the domain name through Godaddy.com. They now have it up for sale as a premium domain name with Godaddy.com for almost $300.

The second quoted texted, was me telling easyrecycle that as Gustavus mentioned, most domain names that are registered but no site attached, are squatters, or like easyrecycle said, people who buy domains, put a park page on them, and wait for their value to increase.
