Lightbulb Thinking Of Opening New Store

Seems like there is a lot of used mattress to be had out there.
So I think I will open a store to sell them.

I will call it Bed Bugs And Beyond!

Funny thing, I went to a yard sale and picked up a real nice backpack. A real one with aluminum frame and all, not the slacker kind we see kids dragging the ground behind them.

It was a great deal at $10.00 but after inspecting it farther in the bed of my truck I seen it was loaded full of bed bugs.
Not sure what to do with it I set it outside my gate by the road. It was gone in no time. Some poor homeless bastard now has a nice backpack and bed bugs.
Pretty sad even bed bugs can be homeless!

Should have just tossed it in the freezer for a few days. Would have killed em all. I suppose you'd need a big freezer though.

That baby was not getting anywhere near my house let alone my freezer. Good idea but I will just consider it a lesson of life.

I was just thinking maybe I should have auctioned it off on George's site.

Funny, "Dear what's for dinner?" "Well we have a backpack, a frozen pizza, and bed bugs" "That's okay dear I'm not hungry anymore".

    Fair enough.

I'm an entomologist though and can tell you for future reference that pretty much any insect would be killed if you seal it in a garbage bag, you can always duct tape the seams, then toss it in the freezer for a few days or a week. Just something to keep in mind.

    Cheers

Hey were you the one that grabbed it? Just joking!
I know what you mean when I inspected the backpack I instantly felt like I was covered.
I still itch when I think about it.

Thats what happens to all the matresses around here, people cut them open leave the padding and bed bugs, and then take the metal. As for bed frames they stay longer untill someone gathers them for a bon fire and picks out the metal (no bed bugs this way)

Ah, this is where my hatchet comes into play. Once the outer wood frame is knocked away, I take the guts with the couple wood cross bars still attached to the yard.. Yard Has never told me no this way.

Here you go. The dirty mattress teardown with no gloves...WHILE smoking... impressive eh? My camera is about 5 years old, that's why the picture looks like it's from the 80's.

Batteries die in the first one, same thing with the second video, they just lived a little longer, but I ran out. (Batteries from things found in trash)

Also, I don't know how to make the videos fancy like jack the scrapper does with all the editting and cutting stuff out, so this is just raw footage.
