Every have one of those weeks... or 2?
1. Scrap yard here in town has to much stuff, so the city shut them down until they get rid of some inventory. They can't get enough rail cars to move the stuff. I heard it would take 300 rail cars to get it moved out. They can only get 3 or 4 at a time. They only other yard around here dropped their light steel prices to $60/ton. Supply and demand.
2. I was scheduled to be closing and moving today. $%$&* apprasier found peeling paint on a few spots of my house and shed and pushed back the closing a week. My wife, our seller, and our buyer are a bit upset. Not good. I got it repaired in a few hours, but it still was pushed back. Most of our house is moved out and we are living on paper plates and camp chairs in the living room. We have to go like this for another whole week!
3. TigerDirect calls me about the 2 laptops I just bought. Um... what? I didn't order anything! We canceled the order, but the funds from the bank are being held, you know, the way the do for a pre-authorization. Someone hacked my debit card. That leaves me $20 for a full week until that money is released, no debit card for a week, buying a house so I can't use the credit cards until I close, all business ventures (
Ebay,
Amazon and scrap) are on hold until the move because they are packed... which is now moved back another week.... see item #2.
I need a beer, but I can't afford it.
dang it.
