What do you put in those boxes to prevent things from falling out?

Ignore that...I was judging from the picture, which is the top, not the bottom. Not fully awake just yet.

Yeah, I bent or cut all my copper to have more room, unless it is already short of course.

However, for that, I just use Rubbermaid storage containers. I will use boxes or Rubbermaid containers when I am at a foreclosure and collecting any metal, aluminum, and wire, or electronics.

Beside the purpose of the thread, but HOW can a DEPOSIT be non-refundable? Is it applied to the last month's rent? By definition, it's applied to an amount owed.

We had two choices, $500 non-refundable, or $800 refundable at the end of the last month.

There is a hole on the bottom too, but I put a piece of card over it. I use the banana boxes more for storing stuff then scrapping...bins and buckets for that.

We spent about a week to clean up the garage so we could move around in there and built a new shelf for the buckets and totes. Next will be a new workbench, more pegboard, and cabinets for the garage.

My mad scientist's lair... (I posted these in a different thread, but I wanted to play here, too) :))

My "hideout" is the far corner of my backyard. Teardown happens on top of this dryer shell for the most part (picture was before I flipped it over)

But teardowns that require more tools are brought to the garage. I separate the metal outside (alum, steel, copper) and use a handtruck to bring it to backyard

Then I throw steel into a pile (smaller stuff in an old truck toolbox for now to save space) and alum in a fiberglass tractor cover. copper/brass are just in containers.

Oh, and the trampoline is an awesome storage shelf haha

Just remember Oldude's and Copper Heads posts about having a lurker break in to their breakdown area and took some pretty substantial amounts of scrap. Don't give away all your secrets while sharing with your scrapper family, Never know who's lurking. If you feel safe, fine, but if not then be forewarned.

Wow scrapping while doing a number 2 in the bathroom. That Is relaxed scrapping folks.
