I'm too far away from a Roadhouse so I'm going up to my local American Legion, they offer a free ham and bean dinner to any veterans tomorrow. If your reading this, I'm glad you made it home safely,, God Bless,,,

I got my day planned out.
Krispy creme for the doughnut then off to dennys for my grandslam, then to roadhouse for lunch then applebees or olive garden for dinner. Oh and subway sometime between all that. Then on monday Hit golden corral for the pig fest

dude, hoss! Go get a meal for him and bring it home. I bet they anyone of the aforementioned establishments will gladly indulge your fathers needs. Give it a shot. Have him call in and ask since he is house bound and you pick it up for him. Hope you can still have a memorable day with you Dad!

Hey Hoss, I was thinking about your dad when I posted. Too bad you can't take him out to eat. I like hypoman's suggestion. Keep in mind they ask for proof of military service.

you might want to hit chili's for lunch as theirs is 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (per their website), then applebees for dinner, that way you are not rushed to make it to chili's by 5.

I only had an hour for lunch. I arrived at 11:10 with my wife and the line was already out the door. I had no idea there were so many vets in town. We went somewhere else. Now I owe my wife a steak dinner at another time.

O-Well. I should have expected that.
