Hapy Thanksgiving to all. I forgot what a nightmare the grocery stores can be on the day before thanksgiving. I had to go once today for work, and then when I got home, I had to finalise my menu for tomorrow and go again. All done and ready to cook tomorrow.

as joe poined out (righfully) I ***** and moan a lot, but then Im intitled, Im old and Ive earned it. Dont take it wrong it is just venting. I have a lot to be thankfull for, probably more then most. I have survived a lot. and am still standing, Im thankfull for that. I ***** about my last 3 or 4 years of marrige, but the first 23 or 24 were heaven, no one could ask for better.im thankfull for that. I have great kids, and for the most part great inlaws, Im thankfull for that. I have a great brother and his family, im thankfull for That . last but not least, I have this forum and all the people on it with out which this world would be a lesser place. tomarrow these are the things I will be thinking of.

A Thanksgiving Day Prayer for all my scrap metal friends
Lord, so often times, as any other day
When we sit down to our meal and pray
We hurry along and make fast the blessing
Thanks, amen. Now please pass the dressing
We're slaves to the olfactory overload
We must rush our prayer before the food gets cold
But Lord, I'd like to take a few minute more
To really give thanks to what I'm thankful for
For my family, my health, a nice soft bed
My friends, my freedom, a roof over my head
I'm thankful right now to be surrounded by those
Whose lives touch me more than they'll ever possibly know
Thankful Lord, that You've blessed me beyond measure
Thankful that in my heart lives life's greatest treasure
That You, dear Jesus, reside in that place
And I'm ever so grateful for Your unending grace
So please, heavenly Father, bless this food You've provided
And bless each and every person invited
