Waiting for the money to clear paypal would be alright.

The consignee of said goods want you to use his / her ebay account. So were to assume their paypal is going to receive payment for said goods.

Having the password to their ebay account would give you the needed permissions to chance the payment email address to your own, but that could be considered theft even if the paypal account had a zero balance.

George this deal stinks, I would not have even considered passing the information along.

We have more stuff than house. Looking to give a percentage of sales to the eBay lister. Should be $6000 of our old items that will be sold in the next three weeks.. Please provide desired percentage and eBay history/resume. Monday through Friday anytime between 10 am - 2 pm. You will use our eBay account so we can pay the listing and selling fees. Start immediately.

If it's good stuff I would offer to buy that "lot" from them and then piece it out myself and my offer would be about 35-40% of what I think I can sell it for. That may seem low but if a person did it their way a 40% commission would be reasonable then factor in the 15% that Ebay and Paypal would take and your at 45%. They are getting cash in hand and off to the store to go Christmas shopping.

I forget the name of it but Ebay has a program set up already where they will refer people to you in your area that want someone to sell their stuff. You use your own accts tho.

I would run not walk away from that deal, it stinks to me. What do you do when a customer is not happy with their purchase, you cannot be refunding.
