C'mon George, if Forum 'XYZ' was talking about VIP recycling (good or bad) wouldn't you have a vested interest in joining in the conversation?? in my mind, I would have much more peace of mind using a company that i am able to interact with, even in some small way..
So for you to feel "comfortable" in dealing with your bank, ebay, paypal, usps, fedex, cable company, cell phone company, and all the others you might do business with, then you feel it is a requirement that if you belong on a forum that discusses cable and different cable networks, that a rep from YOUR company come MUST be on the site to defend any negative publicity, or someone's negative comments about their interactions?

Good luck in all of that.

Like I said, just because you do business with anyone, there is never a requirement that they must have a representative on any site so you can interact with them, etc.

With all the billions of people in the world, not everyone is going to have something good to say about every single company out there. That is why you have to research the company out, take in all the negative and positive feedback from consumers, and make your own well educated decision.

If someone wanted to talk about any one of my business, whether it be good or bad, more power to them. However, if my company was as big as say 1800-got-junk, then if it was required that I be on every site that discussed me whether in good light or bad light, when would I ever get any work done?

That is my whole point, that just because you do business with anyone, is no requirement that they must be on a site or interact with you in anyway, except through their normal support channels.

If you don't want to do business with someone, just because they are not on a forum to handle a dispute of any kind, then don't. There is other e-buyers on here that do frequent the forums multiple times a day/week that would love your business.
