Our son gave me a junk electric motor. He'd gotten it at his work and been carrying it around for about a month going to give it to me. My wife asked him why not give it to him as a Christmas present? I really got a kick out of it. Got me a telescoping magnet (never have too many) also and an electronic scale. I think that was all the scrap metal-related stuff. Oh, and a magnetic screwdriver set from the wife that she really wanted for her junk drawer.

Got the wife a set of Klipsch ProMedia speakers for the computer. I recommend these to anyone serious about music.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.
