    Have myself a rude neighbor!

While I was working yesterday, a neighbor two townhouses down, came and knocked on our door. My wife had our curtains open, and he asked her if she would close the curtains, because he could see our Christmas tree. I asked her what she said in return to him. She said, nothing, that she couldn't believe he would say something like that.

I told her, let him come today or any day it is up and let him say something to me. I will tell him that he has 5 seconds to get off my property, or he will have a visit from the police.

I dont know what his religion is or whatever, but no one is going to tell me what to do in my own home!

Maybe he had a major traumatic incident involving Christmas trees. Or maybe he's looking for one!

Sounds like your neighbor is a self confessed peeper, I wonder if he knows where your wifes birth mark is or how many moles she has.

I would knock on his door and sing Christmas Carols, or leave him a Fruit Cake!

Once Christmas is over I would put it in my front yard with the lights still on it and no ornaments on it and keep it lite up for next month. Personally I would have laughed at him and told him wait till next year I am gonna line the drive with trees and light them up with cameras on them and a live video feed to them and give him a link so he can watch it all day and night long. I had directtv installed at my place last year and about a week after it was put up I got a knock on my door from my neighbor and he said I needed to have it moved over five feet and put on my roof. I almost laughed at him but I called directtv and had them move it over little does he know the brackets are still installed on his side. I think he is the same neighbor that threw a fit and called our landlord one day when the water got shut off by the city because my gf forgot to pay the bill one month it was back on in a few minutes but just enough time for him to throw a fit all he had to do was knock on our door and ask what happened I can't wait to move out next month and knock on his door before I leave and tell him how much I love hearing him doing his workout videos through my wall because for some reason he has to play them on max volume. I haven't said anything because I am not an a hole neighbor. I just let it slide because he isn't doing it at 12 at night.

He sounds like a common condo association member.

So you live in a townhouse, could this be the guy? If so glad they got him, he won't be bothering anyone where he's going!

We have a fake tree. Real ones are way EXPENSIVE here and make such a mess, especially with carpets. I told my wife, that if I was at home, I would have told him to go to hell, that this was America, and if he did not like he, to screw himself.

I think you are 100% correct. Also told my wife, that after I got done saying a few choice words with him, would tell him that he had 2 seconds to get off my walk way before I report him for being a peeping tom.

You don't like what is in my living room, dont look through the window!

My dude used to get fruit cakes all the time. Tasted it one time...YUCK!.

I would do the carols, but not sure which town house he lives in.

Like above, it is fake. I will be put in our down stairs closet for next year, or in our attic one. Plus not sure which house is his.

Your guess is good as mine. Just wished I was here! The whole town house court would have had a good show! lol

Yep, that tree and a couple of it's buddy's would be up there till the branches rusted and fell off, and not a day before.
Hey George go around and collect a truck load of thrown out trees sitting on the curb and if you find out which town house he's in then drop all those trees on his lawn, Just sharin' the joy,, you know.

Don't remember how this came up - but I was once told by a lawyer to never look in someone's window. Probably some laws about that.

I always wondered why some people keep their Christmas decorations up all year, now I see why lol. On a serious note they just passed a law that you can legally shoot someone on your property but I don't know all the details, I'm in nc.
