Just got home from one of our Christmas gatherings....Had a great time and now trying to burn off some energy so I can sleep and get up and do it all over again....So I thought I would share some things with the peeps here on the forum. Just some personal stuff shown through pictures to pass the minutes.
Lets start with my wife. She underwent bariatric surgery just over a year ago...Things are very different now than they were when we first married. The first picture below was taken one month before the surgery
Here it is...

Now here she is in a picture that was taken exactly one year after the surgery occurred....Quite the change

Laura likes to joke that she has lost an entire person and honestly that is very true...Before the surgery she was unable to walk and would rarely agree to even leave the house...These days I can hardly keep her in the house for longer than five minutes.
Now on to our dogs...Laura and I raise and rescue boxers and currently we have two.
First is our female Mattie Jo, seen in the picture below...She is 3 years old and rules the roost in these parts

Then we have Zeus, our male...We rescued Zeus from a family in Fort Wayne...He was left outside on a chain in the winter without food or proper shelter. He was extremely thin and scared but once he came to us we made sure that he received everything he needed and then some. The picture below is a bit old. He is now just over a year and is actually larger than Mattie.

Next is a photo of a race car and driver that my company sponsors on a local track. Mason Stewart, the driver, is like a son to my wife and I and we do not miss a race. This past year was his first year racing and he did pretty good. His season ended when another driver hit the wall and flipped his car on top of Mason's during the second to last race. Quite scary...This picture was taken the day that the accident happened. Mason was not injured but the car is in pretty bad shape. He is slowly getting it ready for next season.

And for those who may wonder what I look like here is a picture of myself and my Dad taken during the reception for my son's wedding. To clarify, I am the rather large one in the picture.
