I am at the house waiting for 12am so I can go out side and hear everyone that yells HAPPY NEW YEAR! in the neighborhood, I really enjoy that!

In my neck of the woods, you go outside to hear everybody shooting guns, doing burnouts and hootin' n hollerin'.

I think everyone got the email around here this year, because what you described happened. Boy, was I surprised Maybe, I just need to keep drinking on New Years.(didn't drink a drop this year.)
