One thing that pisses me off is when someone thinks that their droppings don't stink and make fun of other people for their jobs or disability.

I'm pretty much the same way. I tend to be very relaxed, but I had a customer who screamed about my father (He worked for me doing deliveries)- that's one bridge that you never cross.
I'm also annoyed at people who play music really loudly in their vehicles with the windows down- especially when their music tastes are different.

If that was directed to me...
Trust me you don't have the monopoly on posting blocks of text. IN the future if I'm directing something to you, I'll make sure I mention you by name. An for the record, my **** smells like bubbles an sunshine...an sometimes rum.

Then waft that smell my way! LOL JK
I'm confused tho are you talking about my comment? Nothing was directed towards you.. Just today someone I know was waking around like their droppings smelt like roses.. well I know for a fact they ain't eating roses! lol
When I get a hit on some scrap and the person calls and asks if I am bringing help. I say "no, I move this (item) often, I can handle it", and they proceed to hang up and call the next guy. So annoying. If I needed help I would bring help.

What pisses me off the most: Anyone taking me for granted, start assuming anything about me and I'll correct that pronto!
Big men with little brains and little men with big egos, give either type too many beers, there will be a problem!
right now I'm pretty pissed off at the guy who dropped 2 refrigerators off next to my trailer. They don't work but I'm assuming they still have the freon in them and my yard won't take them with the freon in them. Now I'm stuck with 2 fricking refrigerators that will cost me money to unload unless I can somehow drop them off on someone else's doorstep. In all my few years of scrapping nothing has pissed me off more than this. You don't drop your garbage off in someone elses backyard. I don't care if it does look like he is a garbage collector.
You could get lucky when he dumped them on your property he broke the lines... Yon need to get rid of them... I am sure you could remove the compressor intact from each unit... but if you accidently broke the line...
When I work 16 hour days and still have trouble getting "ahead" but the worthless sack of crap down the road refuses to work and wins the frigging lottery......
Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.

There is a simple solution to the Freon problem. I do not handle enough Freon appliances to make it worth my time to get certified or purchase equipment, so I called on some ads from CL where people were specifically looking for a/c units and fridges and such. I found a guy that would come out and remove the Freon properly at no cost to me, in exchange for the Freon he could then use for repairs or resale. Sometimes he even makes me an offer for the complete unit, although not fridges and freezers. If you cannot find some advertising then place an ad of your own or do some cold calling to local a/c shops. Not so much a money making venture as it is a solution to a problem.

I hate rules, but I love junk.
It has been almost 3 years since anyone vented about what pisses them off in this thread. This is a GREAT THREAD as it helps me blow off a little steam and laugh a little. So I figure that is enough time for steam to build up and for other people to think of new things that they hate. Here are some of mine:
1) Texting and driving.
2) Someone who tries to sound like an expert on something and mispronounces or misuses words related to their so-called area of expertise. For instance, if a scrapper used the term "fair bright copper" I'd really have to wonder.
3) Indecisive people, like someone standing in line in front of me at a fast-food restaurant hemming and hawing about what they want. Hey buddy, step aside. I know what I want!
4) Not having enough money to live really comfortably, but at least I'm working on that one.
5) Taking a load of scrap to the yard and finding that they closed 20 minutes early and there is nowhere else to go that day.
6) People who sell counterfeit items (like gold coins) and blatantly defraud others.
7) Reading an obvious fake news item and trying to contact the author of the article only to find that it is written by "Staff".
8) When I bust my you know what on some project and somebody figures it took me only about 30 minutes to complete it.
9) Getting really excited about a Curb Co. find only to bring it home and find that it is beyond repair, takes up a lot of room, and has a scrap value of about 25 cents.
10) New threads on this site with vague titles like "I've Got a Question". Please- I should be able to tell from the title what your question is about. To title it "Question about stripping copper wire" or "Question about platinum vs. palladium" would be much better and save us all a lot of time.
Thanks in advance.

7am at Mickey D's in Bristol PA back in 2003.
There's an old lady trying to get her old lady discount, use a coupon and substitute items. She was told she could not do that and it had escalated to the young manager.
The old lady was getting very pissed over 23 cents, the employees had no idea how to handle the situation and the lobby was filling up with pissed off customers.
Have you ever witnessed something like that and wanted to say something but didn't?
I don't remember exactly what I said but it was loud and went something like "Lady, I will pay for your f****** food if you will just make up your mind and get the f*** out of the way"
It was not my proudest moment but it I received a round of applause and cheers from the customers waiting in line and thank yous from the employees.
So I ended up pissing off 1 person and making about 30 people very happy.
FaceBook ads that are trying to sell products /services that are fake or very misleading (( programming boot camps, web services, miracle cures, political cow manure, etc )).

Anyone who uses news media, blogs, wiki-how, YouTube, or any other garbage references as 'source material' for their 'research'.
